Preferred Qualifications

• Construction Administration experience from kick-off to closeout
• Ability to be the primary client contact for a given project
• Demonstrated technical knowledge of materials, details, & construction
• Demonstrated knowledge of ADA & building codes
• Experience or interest in civic & end-user engagement

Senior Project Manager

Marketing Coordinator

Glavé & Holmes Architecture is seeking a creative and highly motivated Marketing Coordinator who will work closely with the Director of Marketing. The successful candidate will:

• Develop, design, and produce a variety of high-quality graphic materials, including but limited to 
  proposals/qualifications packages, email blasts, award submissions, brochures, advertisements, interview presentations, conference presentations, banners, reports, and other complex production projects in accordance with the firm’s brand standards.
• Create visibility in the marketplace through strategic and proactive management of the firm’s social 
  media presence by creating memorable highlights. 
• Update the firm’s website.
• Work in close collaboration with Studio Directors to research clients, market trends and other information associated with business development efforts.
• Perform administrative tasks including maintenance and update of employee resumes, project cut sheets, boilerplate information, CRM database and assist with back-up for reception when necessary.

Must have experience in the A/E/C industry or related experience. Must be highly proficient with Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator as well as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with WordPress and CRM systems is a plus. 

Excellent organizational skills; strong communication skills in written, verbal, and visual form. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently as well as in team environments, often under tight deadlines.

The ideal candidate will have project leadership experience in a diversity of design-focused work, including higher education, civic/community and science & technology projects. Responsibilities include collaborating with the Design Principal and Project Manager to deliver services, consulting with the client to ascertain the goals and objectives of the project, attending project meetings, directing and reviewing activities of designers and other staff, reviewing and evaluating the program, schedule, budget, project site, and other information furnished by the client and the laws, codes, and regulations applicable to the Architect’s services. Additionally, the Senior Architect will prepare and present designs, drawings, and other documents utilizing computer-assisted design software and equipment, consider environmentally responsible design alternatives, and prepare construction documents for the client’s approval.

The Senior Architect will coordinate with other consultants on the project, assist in documenting and maintaining records for the project, prepare estimates of the Cost of the Work, update the estimate at various phases of the project, advise and consult with the client during the Construction Phase Services, and perform duties consistent with the professional skill and care ordinarily provided by architects practicing in the same or similar locality.
