Seminar Proposal

In this section, you’ll tell us about your seminar proposal.
The title should be succinct, compelling and effectively communicate the content of the presentation. Please limit the title to 10 words and 50 characters. Title case is recommended.

Clever is good. Short and clear is even better.
Please provide a description of your proposed seminar as it should appear in print. We recommend avoiding special characters such as bullet points. Try to limit your description to about 50 words/500 characters.

Simplicity is key. Remember: attendees will decide to attend your session (or another) based on this description — so really sell your idea!
If you believe this course should be eligible for HSW credit, please describe how the course content addresses Health, Safety, and Welfare topics for at least 75 percent of the content. To be eligible for HSW credit, 3 out of 4 learning objectives should relate to health, safety and welfare. Keep in mind that HSW is about protecting the occupants of the built environment. In the HSW Justification, you should be able to show a direct connection between the topic of the learning program and protecting the health, safety, and welfare of the occupants of the built environment. (Please type NA if this is not HSW).
For learning objectives, more is not often better. Learning objectives should be a single, concise sentence that states a single learning outcome. Effective learning objectives use active verbs to describe what you want learners to be able to do by the end of the learning program. Learning objectives should define measurable outcomes and results.
