It is hard to believe that it has been five years since I took this position in June 2017. I knew the career opportunity as AIA Virginia Executive Vice President was going to be special, but you honestly never know how great something will be until you immerse yourself in it. Entries to the 2022 Design Awards program are now being accepted. What’s new in 2022? In response to feedback from entrants and jurors, we’ve launched an Unbuilt Architecture category and clarified the description of the Design for Context category. The deadline is 5 p.m. on June 28.
