COTE Corner: Energy Code
Shout out to Va. COTE Committee member Andrew McKinley, AIA, for serving on the Energy Code Sub-Workgroup. This workgroup will meet throughout the current Virginia Code Development Cycle to develop and review energy-related code change proposals, as well as identify areas of consensus or compromise amongst stakeholders related to Virginia’s energy code provisions. Keep an eye out here for updates – and give Andrew a high-five for serving in this capacity!

VANOMA Open House | Charlottesville
February 25th | 5:30 PM | VMDO, 200 E. Market Street, Charlottesville, Virginia
Join VANOMA on February 25th at 5:30 pm for their fourth of four in-person Open House events to meet the board and learn more about what VANOMA has planned for 2022. VMDO has graciously offered to host, and the event will take place at their office, located at 200 E Market Street, in downtown Charlottesville. To comply with VMDO’s current COVID-19 policies, all attendees must be fully vaccinated with a booster shot and must wear a mask throughout the duration of the event. Glavé & Holmes Architecture, a nationally recognized architecture, interior design, and planning firm, announced today that Lori Garrett, FAIA, LEED Green Associate has been named President of the firm. Garrett succeeds Randy Holmes, FAIA, who was President of the firm for 21 years.
