Angela Ojeda Guzy, Assoc. AIA

The Virginia Society AIA and the Virginia Center for Architecture are pleased to announce that Angela Ojeda Guzy, Assoc. AIA, has joined the staff.

As Director of Cooperative Partnerships, Guzy will be responsible for building mutually beneficial relationships with corporate supporters, exhibitor booth sales at the annual Architecture Exchange East convention and securing financial support for the Virginia Center for Architecture through grant and gift programs.

Guzy graduated from Virginia Tech with a Bachelors of Architecture and a Bachelors of Liberal Arts & Sciences. She started her architecture career at Rawlings Wilson & Associates followed by work at Odell Associates, Rodriguez Ripley Maddox Motley, Paul Finch and Associates and Ballou Justice Upton Architects where she worked on healthcare, institutional, religious, commercial, educational and residential projects.

“I’m delighted that Angela has joined the team,” says Executive Vice President Helene Combs Dreiling, FAIA. “We are fortunate that we were able to recruit an individual with such rich architectural as well as sales and project management skills.
