If you missed the first time we presented this information, please register to join us Wednesday, March 24, from noon – 1 p.m. to hear important proposed changes to our governance structure. You will be asked to vote on these changes in the near future.
In 2020, the Secretary’s Advisory Committee (SAC) was convened to study the governance efficiency and inclusivity of the organization. The result of this study was a set of recommendations that would adjust the size of the Board while extending service opportunities within AIA Virginia. The result will be an organization that strives to achieve its vision with a diverse group of volunteers with a passion for elevating the impact of the profession.
Please join 2020 Secretary and SAC Chair, Jeanne LeFever, AIA for this virtual presentation to the membership to learn about the key elements of the recommendations. Implementation of the recommendations will require the membership to vote and approve proposed Bylaws changes at a future date.
