Virginia’s New Emergency Temporary OSHA Standard for COVID-19: What All Employers Must Do Now

August 14, 2020 @ 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm

$20 – $75

Virginia is the first state in the nation to adopt OSHA workplace safety standards designed specifically to ensure the protection of workers from infection risk.

The new OSHA COVID-19 regulations require that all employers take specific actions in response to those regulations.

Attorneys from O’Hagan Meyer will translate the language of the new regulations into a simple action plan for you to ensure that you comply with the standard by:

  • Explaining how to assess your company and employee job risk classification, and the impact of that classification on your obligations;
  • Ensuring you are aware of what policies you must adopt on reporting and communicating exposures, controlling the return to work process of anyone posing a risk of COVID-19 infection to others, and keeping employees distanced from each other and the public; and
  • Implementing engineering, administrative and work practice controls to keep your workplace safe.

$20 for members
$75 for non-members

Registration is required. Please register below.
