Overview of the Tax Code Section 179D

Please join the AIA Virginia COTE and Baumann Consulting on Tuesday, May 14, 2024 from 12:00-1:30pm for this Zoom webinar that will provide the audience with an overview of the Tax Code Section 179D (Energy Efficiency Tax Deduction) and Section 48 (Clean Energy Investment Tax Credit). They incentivize project teams to make energy efficiency improvements to their building’s HVAC, lighting, or enclosure systems and to invest in on-site clean energy systems including solar photovoltaics, solar water heaters, wind turbines, geo-exchange systems, fuel cells, and battery storage technologies. The presenters will explain in detail how the incentive structures work, what measures qualify, labor requirements, and the documentation process to successfully take advantage of these benefits.
