At the conclusion of this program, participants will be able to:

*Review history of mechanical, stand-alone, and networked access control products and the common terminology used to describe their deployment

*Understand how technologies convergence is driving the development of new and sophisticated electronic access control door hardware solutions

*Examine the advantages and disadvantages of intelligent EAC products (IP Enabled, Wiegand Output) and their appropriate applications

*Learn the correct questions to ask and language to use when writing electronic access control products into specifications
