AIA Virginia’s Beer + Design is a series of casual programs on design topics.  At a B+D event, there are several speakers on a loosely-related topic.   The speakers are designers or other creative types drawn from the broad field of design.  Past presenters have come from the worlds of architecture, art & graphic design, interior design, photography, metalwork, textiles, landscape architecture and others.  The series is held in varying locations.

Coming February 6: Beer + Design: Get Outta Here!

B+D: Get Outta Here! will feature creative people whose work is outta here.  Out of the box, out of the building, out of town, out of money, out of time…

6:00 pm, February 6, 2013, at the Storefront for Community Design, 205 E. Broad Street in downtown RVA.

Next up: Beer + Design: Get In Here!

Tentatively scheduled for either April 3 or May 1, B+D: Get In Here!  will look at interiors and new ways to create and exist inside.
