We are thrilled to welcome Todd Sigaty with SHoP Architects and Megan Anderson with Deloitte as our Keynote Speakers at the 39th Architecture Exchange East annual conference in Richmond, VA.

Megan Anderson - Strategic Foresight Leader, Deloitte's Office for the Future

Megan Anderson is a Strategic Foresight Leader at Deloitte’s Office for the Future, working at the intersection of psychology, human-centered design, and futures thinking. Through interdisciplinary practices such as affective foresight, she examines how cognition and emotion influence the ways individuals and organizations imagine, interpret, and prepare for change. She helps leaders think more expansively about uncertainty, decision-making, and long-term change by identifying emerging signals and patterns, challenging existing assumptions, and preparing for a range of possible futures. Her work explores themes related to well-being, neuroscience, the future of cities, and the future of education, with a focus on co-creating futures that inspire action and support human progress and environmental health.

Ms. Anderson was recognized as a Top Women Leader in Business Consulting for 2026 by Women We Admire. She is a frequent speaker and writer on topics such as strategic foresight, affect and decision-making, and human-centered futures. Her work has been featured by the Association of Professional Futurists (APF), and she has presented for organizations including the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) and the International Neuropsychological Society (INS). Ms. Anderson holds a Master of Arts in Forensic and Legal Psychology from Marymount University, along with certificates from Harvard Business School and Stanford University.
