Registration Fees to Remain Steady

No increase in renewal fees is anticipated for several years by the board regulating architects and architectural practice in Virginia.

Fiscal management decisions made by the administrators of the regulatory board kept the board within its mandated expense levels.  The decisions made include canceling several section meetings when meager discussion items allowed and combining meetings of sections when practical.

For at least the 2012 schedule, professional engineers and land surveyors have been meeting together as have landscape architects and certified interior designers.  Architects have met as a single section.
