Registration is now open for the Society’s 25th annual conference and trade show— Architecture Exchange East. Held Nov. 7–9, 2012, in historic Richmond, Va., ArchEx features nearly 70 educational sessions, spectacular behind-the-scenes architectural tours, engaging special events, and more than 100 vendors in the ArchEx Exhibit Hall.  This year’s Keynote Speaker, Tye Farrow, discusses health and how architects are destined to change the meaning of the word. His work, called “breathtaking” by Society Vice President for Professional Excellence A. Ray Pentecost, III, FAIA, has been recognized internationally for the design of public and private sector buildings that enhance health.
